QA in Higher Education for SDGs:
Converging Global Aspiration with National Realities

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to AUN-QA International Conference 2018 to be held on March 26th – 27th, 2018 at Dusit Thani Bangkok, Thailand. The Conference is jointly organized by Mahidol University, ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC), Thailand.

Higher Education is an important tool to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to poverty, health and well-being, gender equality, responsible consumption and production, climate change, etc. The theme of this year Conference “QA in Higher Education for SDGs: Converging Global Aspiration with National Realities” will promote the role of quality assurance in higher education for accelerating achievement of SDGs, raise the quality of higher education, and support collaboration among regional and international stakeholders for the benefit of the ASEAN community and the world.

We offer plenary and keynote lectures as well as the oral and poster presentation sessions as a platform for participants to present their latest findings and best practices in Higher Education QA and related areas. The Conference will also provide a wonderful platform for networking with the leading education professionals, AUN-QA experts, assessors and researchers, friends and colleagues as well as sponsors and exhibitors.

In addition to networking, the Conference offers memorable experience in one of the world’s most outstanding tourist cities – Bangkok. The Conference venue itself, Dusit Thani Bangkok, has been well recognized as an icon of luxury in the heart of Bangkok, delivering superb services and hospitality since 1970. Its function rooms feature distinctive Thai elements with flexible space, allowing for a range of events – including academic presentation and exhibition.
